Ashes will be blessed and distributed during Mass and will be available at the altar rails throughout the day.

Welcome the Word in Lent

Mount Argus Young Adult Group (18-35) are offering a series of evenings of prayer and reflection on the Thursdays of Lent from 7.30 to 8.30 pm, beginning on Thursday, 5 March in the Meeting Rooms beside the Church.

Finding God in a Leaf

The Mount Argus Activ8 Team invite you to join them in a ‘Book Club for Lent’. They will be reflecting on the book ‘Finding God in a Leaf – The Mysticism of Laudato Sí’ by Fr Brian Grogan SJ. This will take place in the Upper Room from 7.30 to 8.30 pm on the Fridays of Lent, beginning on Friday, 6 March. Copies of the book can be purchased on the night for €4. Tea and apple pie are free!

Children’s Liturgy of the Word

On the Sundays of Lent, we will have Children’s Liturgy of the Word

at the 11.00 am Family Mass. This is an opportunity for the children

to hear God speaking to them in words they can understand

and to reflect on it together in a homely, prayerful setting.

Saint Patrick’s Day

There will be a Vigil Mass on Monday at 6.15 pm.

Masses on Saint Patrick’s Day will be at 9.00 and 11.00 am.

There will be no evening Mass on Saint Patrick’s Day.
