with Christmas Carols from 8.30 pm and Blessing of the Crib.

. On Christmas Day, the Dawn Mass will be at 8.00 am.

The Day Mass (for Families) will be celebrated at 11.00 am. 

St Stephen’s Day, 26 December

Mass on St Stephen’s Day will be at 11.00 am only.

There will be no Confessions on Sunday, 24 December.

After Christmas, there will be no Confessions until Saturday, 6 January when normal Confession times will resume.

Feast of Saint Charles of Mount Argus

We will celebrate the Feast of Saint Charles on Friday, 5 January with Mass at 10.00 am. In preparation for the Feast, there will be a “Transitus” Vigil of Prayer at the Tomb of Saint Charles on Thursday evening, 4 January, at 7.30. The Vigil will include Readings about the life and death of Saint Charles, a candle-lighting ceremony at the Tomb, Hymns and Prayers for Healing, and Blessing with the Relic of St Charles. 

Eucharistic Adoration

There will be no Eucharistic Adoration in the church during the Christmas and New Year period. Eucharistic Adoration will resume on Wednesday, 10 January.

Other Liturgies

Baptisms
1st and 3rd Sunday of every month at 12.30pm – meeting of parents and godparents on previous Thursday at 8pm in the Monastery. 

Blessing of babies and young children, including celebration of those baptised in Mount Argus in the previous 12 months, takes place on the 5th Sunday of Easter at 11am Mass

Marriages by arrangement

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Every Wednesday 10.30am to 6pm, every Friday 10.30am to 6pm
40 Hours – Ash Wednesday and Thursday after Ash Wednesday at 10.30am to 8pm

Lectio Divina
Every Tuesday in the Monastery at 10.30am
