Father Aidan’s Ordination

Father Aidan O’Kane C.P., was ordained to the priesthood at 12.00 noon on Saturday, 5 September at Holy Cross Church, Ardoyne, Belfast. Father Aidan’s First Mass of Thanksgiving in his home parish in Carnlough, County Antrim was celebrated on Sunday, 6 September at 1.00 pm. It is available on YouTube (click here).

After his ordination, Father Aidan becomes a member of the Passionist Community at Tobar Mhuire, Crossgar, County Down. We thank him for his great contribution to Mount Argus during the last two years, and especially for all he has done during the time of the Coronavirus Pandemic, and we wish him every blessing in his priesthood and in his new community.
