Pentecost
Come Holy Spirit; fill my heart with your love:
Give me the spirit of Wisdom that I may know how to live and act.
Give me the spirit of Understanding that I may learn, and live out my convictions.
Give me the spirit of Right Judgement that I may listen to and follow what I believe you are asking me to do.
Give me the spirit of Courage that I may be strengthened to do what is right, even if it is difficult.
Give me the spirit of Knowledge that I may come to know you more as my God and friend.
Give me the spirit of Reverence that I may recognise and respect your holiness in myself, other people and all your creation.
Give me the spirit of Wonder and Awe that I may praise you for your greatness.
