Passionist Third Centenary

This weekend (20-22 November 2020), we are marking the opening of the Passionist Jubilee Year, celebrating the Third Centenary of
the founding of the Passionist Congregation, with three special moments of prayer at Mount Argus. These
times of prayer are available on the webcam only, as public worship is not permitted at the moment.
On Friday evening at 7.30, we have a one hour Passion Vigil, thanking God for his merciful love which
flows from the Cross of Christ. The vigil includes prayer and meditation, with Eucharistic Adoration and
Benediction. On Saturday morning at 11.00, the Feast of the Presentation of Our Lady, we have Mass in
honour of Mary our Mother who offered herself on Calvary in union with Jesus her Son. At the Sunday
Masses, we celebrate the Feast of Christ the King and the opening of our Passionist Jubilee Year.
We hope you will join with us for these three times of prayer, thanking God for three hundred years of the
Passionists and asking the Lord for safety and healing for those we love and for all those who need our
prayers.
