For many of us, the only time we heard the word 'tweet' was when it was being used in an ornithological way.
The words, "Twitter" and "tweet" or, "tweeting" have entered our lexicon of words and today, whether in business, the media or our social lives, we cannot go far without coming across these words.
Tweeting?
For those who don't know too much about it, don't feel alone. However, there are many today who do know a lot about tweeting, perhaps tweet occasionally themselves and follow (another Twitter term) others who tweet.
So, in keeping with our wish here at Mount Argus to reach out to as many people as possible, you can now follow us on Twitter. Our Twitter name is (not unsurprisingly) "MountArgus." So, to follow us, click on the icon above left, sign in to your own Twitter account (if you have one, or create one if you don't) and follow the instructions to add MountArgus to your 'following' list. |

International Eucharistic Congress 2012 |
|
The Catholic Church in Ireland is embarking on a journey of spiritual and practical preparation for the Fiftieth International Eucharistic Congress, which will take place in Dublin from June 10 to June 17, 2012.
The theme of the Congress is, The Eucharist: Communion with Christ and with one another.
One of the central mysteries of our faith is the incarnation. The Son of God took on our human nature and lived our human reality, including our experience of suffering and death. This means that the Eucharist has something to say about every truly human experience.
To get more details, click on the Congress logo, top left. This will bring you to the official site for the International Eucharistic Congress and there you will find the latest information about plans, events, and opportunities to volunteer. |
