The Baptism team assists in the preparation for and celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism. They represent the larger Community by welcoming the child to be baptised and their families on their faith journey.  We meet the parents and godparents on the Thursday night before the Baptism takes place; we explain their responsibility and duty to pass on the faith to their children.  We explain the format for the ceremony and what the symbols represent and also help with the readings.  Baptism is celebrated on the first and third Sunday of each month.
