"RTE Radio 1 has a series of programmes called “A Giant at My Shoulder” in which prominent people talk about a person who has had a major influence on their lives.

The Giant at MY Shoulder is an American Passionist priest called Thomas Berry.

He was one of the first to say that the earth crisis is fundamentally a spiritual crisis and that the solutions to the earth’s problems can begin only with spiritual solutions."
